... a Morgan PlusSix? Today I learned that they are using the Zupra drivetrain as well.
Housed in handcrafted aluminium and wood, of course!
The shift lever is a little too well known, unfortunately. The BMW part works fine from a technical point of view, it’s just a little out of place in this interiour. And yes, that means that it also is auto only. Still quite a stunning piece of kit.

That BMW shifter looks pretty funny in there, but otherwise that’s a beautiful interior. And the wood construction really throws me every time with Morgans.

Hell, I’d buy it!

Yes! I watched a behind the scenes at the factory someone posted here a while back and gained a new appreciation for these cars.

“GTFAC!” As a former Italian commenter would tell you. ;)

Too bad they went kind of backward with their styling. I thought the Morgan Aerom a x Coupe was peak Morgan.

I’d rather have this (shift lever and all) over a Z4/Supra.

Given the amount of man hours that go into building this car (mostly) by hand, the price tag seems rather reasona ble as well. A Z4 40i starts around 62k € over here, the Toyota is prized similarly as far as I know. The article I read mentioned a prize tag of 95k € for the Morgan. Roughly 1.5 times the pric e of the BMW, before you start optioning out the BMW. Not too bad of a markup for exclusivity and bespoke coachwork, British craftsmanship, whatever you wanna call it...

What, no sliding post front suspension?..... What kind of Morgan is this? Tell me it has a solid rear axle, please......

I actually have always been pleasantly surprised by Morgan prices for those reasons. Not to mention they’re absolutely classic and very much modern all in one package. I think the Plus 6 goes for around $110,000 here, give or take some markups and options. A price I’d happily pay.

Now I’m a manual die-hard, but something in me s ays that this car should be just fine with an auto. I see it as more of a tourer than a sports car, not something I'd want to toss around corners but more something I'd love to drive up PCH, taking in the coastal views.
